ReechCraft’s Origin + Mission
Entering a new year offers the opportunity to learn and grow as a company. At ReechCraft, we owe so much of our success today to the strong foundations laid when our company first formed. Because of this, we want to remember that history as we move forward.
ReechCraft got its start in 1993, with the mission of creating innovative access solutions for the construction and home improvement industry. At that time, Shane Nickel was doing residential construction and was frustrated at what little innovation he saw to make this type of work safer and easier.
Since “Problem Solver” is Shane’s middle name, he took the solution into his own hands and invented a piece of equipment that he dubbed “MonoJack” (see photos above). This simple product is an early predecessor of our PowerPole, and some of that technology is still seen today in our PanelJack line.
Today, Shane serves as ReechCraft’s Senior Vice President and continues to wow us with his ingenuity (and humor). Most days, he can be found with sleeves rolled up and hands dirty, working on ReechCraft’s next great idea!
Nearly 30 years later, this mission to provide safe, simple access products continues to guide the way we run our business. We are proud to offer quality products and expert service to each of our dealers and customers. We believe that this really sets us apart from other access product companies.
Jason Solhjem, ReechCraft’s Product Development Director, explains: “Designing products to accomplish a task is not difficult. But, designing products that go together rapidly, are highly portable, extremely safe and priced to have tremendous value is much harder, and that makes ReechCraft unique.”
Over time, the ReechCraft team has grown, and we are so thankful that we can now count so many dealers and customers among our friends!
Today, we ship our cutting-edge products to customers within our community and around the world! We’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States and as far away as Australia and Japan to provide unique access solutions to companies far and wide.
Since we value our hometown community, we are proud to design, manufacture and ship everything from our facility in Fargo, North Dakota. This cuts out the middle man and saves our customers time and money. We’re able to remain agile when challenges arise, because our experts can quickly put their heads together to find a workable solution.
Making sure we reward our customers with only the very best, industry-leading products has always been and will continue to be our number-one priority. We are excited to work with you in 2020 and beyond!
